If only the administrator's email address is changing, not the administrator him/herself, just use the 'Change your email address' function. This can be found by clicking 'Personal Info' from the menu bar of the Portal.
If a Supporting Administrator needs to be replaced, permanently or temporarily, the Master Administrator is able to do this by following the instructions in this article.
If the Master Administrator has already left your organisation without handing over the role, the new Master Administrator must email support@cio-pulse and ask us to delete the old administrator's account. Once we've done this, the new Master Administrator can register by following the instructions in this article.
If you are the Master Administrator and you wish to handover your responsibility to someone else, there are two ways you can do this:
- Email support@cio-pulse and ask us to delete your account. Once we've done this, the new Master Administrator can register by following the instructions in this article.
- Alternatively, if you don't want to wait for CIOPulse support staff to delete your account, you can follow the steps below.
Existing Master Administrator
- Log in to the Portal and click 'Personal Info' from the menu bar.
- Change the contact details to those of the new Master Administrator.
- Click 'Change your email address ' and enter the new administrator's email address. This will send the new administrator an email asking him/her to confirm the change.
New Master Administrator
- Open email from CIOPulse and click on the link to confirm the change of email address.
- Go to
app.cio-pulse.com/portaland click 'Reset Forgotten Password'.
- Enter your email address.

- Enter your new password.
Passwords must be a minimum of 14 characters long and can include spaces. Why? "@$1aczN&" can be cracked by brute force in a week. But "My dog is Fred" would take two years! Passwords do not expire.
