Access the administration portal
When you subscribe to CIOPulse, we'll provide you with access to a secure portal so that you can manage the information that CIOPulse needs to run, e.g. the mobile phone numbers of your Support Leads (so that we can send them text message alerts).
To use the Portal, you will need an administrator account. The first person to register becomes the 'Master Administrator'. Subsequent administrators are called 'Supporting Administrators'. Setting up a new account is a three step process:
- Go to the Portal log in screen.
- Register a new account.
- Wait for your registration to be approved. This is a necessary security step.
Master Administrator registrations are approved by CIOPulse staff within 12 hours. Supporting Administrator registrations are approved by the Master Administrator (for instructions on how to approve and manage Supporting Administrators, see this article.)
The same registration function, as described here, is used to register both Master and Supporting Administrators.
You will not be able to access the Portal immediately upon registering.
The CIOPulse team approve Master Administrator registrations. Master Administrator registrations are usually approved within 60 minutes, but may take up to 12 hours due to timezone differences between you and our provisioning team.
Supporting Administrator registrations are approved by the Master Administrator.
Create a new administration account
The Portal can be accessed at
https://app.cio-pulse.com/portalAt the Portal login screen select 'Register New Administrator'.

On the registration page, enter your name, contact information, Portal Code and login details. Your Portal Code is unique to your organisation and will have been provided to you by CIOPulse staff when you subscribed.

Enter your mobile phone number as an international phone number, beginning with a +, followed by your country code and then your mobile phone number with the leading zero removed. No spaces, dashes, brackets or special characters allowed. We will use this number to send you alerts, e.g. re planned and unplanned outages.
Your password must be a minimum of 14 characters long and can include spaces. Why? "@$1aczN&" can be cracked by brute force in a week. But "My dog is Fred" would take two years! Passwords do not expire.
