You will get various emails from CIOPulse, e.g. survey reports, educational emails, product announcements, and emails from our support team.
Our emails will always be sent with a 'from' email address of cio-pulse.com, e.g. [email protected] or [email protected].
We use two different platforms to send these mails. The sending domain (as found in the email header) will be one of these and will depend on the platform we use for that email:
| Mailed by | Type of emails |
|---|---|
| cio-pulse.com IP address: 168.245.64.149 | Alerts, automated reports (e.g. Weekly Promoters Report), requested reports, administrator registration emails, renewal reminders. We use a product called Sendgrid to send these. |
| rp.ciopulse.intercom-mail.com IP address: multiple | Customer support emails, educational emails, product announcements, planned/unplanned outage announcements. We use a product called Intercom for these. |
We recommend you whitelist our emails so they don't get identified as spam and quarantined or blocked.
A common reason that our emails sometimes get through is where the email address we're sending to is a group email that has been set for internal use only. Please make sure any group email addresses are configured as being useable by external senders.
Here's a quote from the Microsoft Exchange documentation that explains this.

If you use distribution groups as email addresses in CIOPulse (e.g. [email protected]), make sure that you have configured the group so that external senders can send emails to it.
