Log in to the client administration portal
At the client portal log in screen, enter your email address and password to log in.
Set the instance
If your organisation has multiple licenses of CIOPulse, and you are authorised to manage more than one of them, you will be able to switch between these instances.
Choose the instance you wish to work on now using the drop-down list and click the 'Set instance' button.
Select 'View your URLs'
Once you are logged in, select 'View your URLs' to see your Survey URLs and the URLs you can use to access the displays, reports and dashboards that CIOPulse provides.
This information is provided to help you become familiar with the information available and the way CIOPulse URLs are formed.
Due to the large number of combinations of parameters/values that are possible with our information URLs, only a subset are shown.
To learn about all the URLs and parameters you can use, refer to this section of this manual.
Warning!
When a URL is copied and pasted into the address bar of a browser (e.g. from an email client or private messaging channel, such as Teams or Slack), the "&" symbols in the URL sometimes get changed into "&".
The "&" symbols are a necessary part of the URL. When they are replaced with "&", the URL will not function correctly. CIOPulse will either display an error or will not return the expected information.
Whether or not "&" gets replaced with "&", depends on the device/browser/software being used to copy, paste and access the URL.
Please ensure your colleagues are aware of this and do not try to access CIOPulse information with a URL that contains "&" anywhere within it.
To make such an invalid URL valid again, delete all occurrences of "amp;" from the URL in the address bar of the browser, leaving just the "&"s.
Listening Posts (the surveys)
At the top of the 'View your URLs' screen you will see the survey URLs that you will need to give to your customers so they can provide feedback.
You will see at least three survey URLs, one for your transactional survey (TS), one for your Compliments, Complaints and Suggestions form (CCS) and one for your relationship survey (RS).
If you are on an Enterprise Plan and you have multiple survey designs (e.g by brand or language), you will have multiple URLs for each survey type.
The parameters in each URL, e.g. &tid=99999, will need to be replaced with real values, e.g. &tid=INC168912.
- The description of the survey. Will begin with "TS" for transactional survey, "CCS" for the Compliments, Complaints and Suggestions, and RS for relationship survey.
- We are gradually migrating our survey engine from Typeform (a third-party survey engine) to an in-house engine. If the text "Email embed code:..." appears below the URL it means that the survey is running on our in-house engine. The embed hyperlinks display the HTML needed to embed Q1 of the survey in an email. The size (small, medium, large) refers to the size of the embed - you choose which size you prefer.
Q1 of the transactional and relationship survey is a rating scale. When we customise the surveys for you, you can choose this to be either a numeric scale or a set of icons (e.g thumbs or stars). The embedded version of Q1 will always be a numeric scale (we cannot render icons in an email).
If your survey URL includes a cpc= parameter (Portal Code), it will be an encoded version of your Portal Code, i.e. it will not be recognisable as your Portal Code. This ensures that your Portal Code is not exposed to the recipients of your survey invitation.
Other hyperlinks
Below the Surveys and CCS Form URLs are hyperlinks that you can use to access the displays, reports and dashboards that CIOPulse provides.
You may want to bookmark some of these. And you may want to provide support leads and managers with the ones that they need. You can do this yourself manually, or you can use the send-my-links or launchpad functions.
Where a display or report is available at the Business Unit level as well as for Departments and Teams, you will see that the Business Unit URL is shown as "All", followed by the URL for up to three of your Departments.
To keep this page short, the 'View your URLs' page only shows URLs for your Departments, not for your Teams.
You can use the send-my-links or launchpad functions to send or display a list of information URLs to your Support Leads so that they can access the information they need.
